During the first part of 2004 eight regional roll-out events were held to increase awareness of the toolkit and the benefits to be gained from integrating the project team and the supply chains. Exemplar projects and supply chains were presented by members of their teams, and experiences were discussed. Valuable feedback was gained, and the two developments below are a direct result of that feedback. Promoting Integration by new approaches over Contract, Insurance and MoneyThe commentary in the IPT workbooks under sections 3.2, 4.11 and 4.12 has occasioned frequent calls for further guidance, on the grounds that currently available products in the areas of "Contract", "Insurance" and "Incentivisation" are not compatible with full integration of Project Teams and Supply Chains as set out in the toolkit. The Paper titled "Promoting Integration by new approaches over Contract, Insurance and Money" has been jointly authored by Martin Davis, Champion of Integration in the Strategic Forum, David Race, Partner of Solicitors Nicholson Graham & Jones, and Stephen Bamforth, Senior Partner of Insurance Brokers Griffiths & Armour. Feedback is invited. On-line Maturity Assessment toolThe Maturity Assessment tool is going "on-line". It will calculate your scores and feedback to you immediately where you have positioned yourself in the spectrum of "Historic", "Transitional" and "Aspirational". A further benefit will be that you will see how you compare, anonymously, with the statistical average of all others who have used the tool, both in your category and elsewhere in the industry. You are encouraged to try the "On-line Maturity Assessment tool" in the early stages of accessing the toolkit - many have said how beneficial they have found it. Toolkit Support NetworkA "Toolkit Support Network" has now been established in order that training and support may be provided on a one-to-one basis in each region, covering both the process and culture of integration "across the toolkit" and also niche training and facilitation for specific needs. Details are in the Support Network Directory which is now coming on-line
