Strategic Forum for Construction Executive Group Endorses New H&S Film

The Strategic Forum for Construction (SFfC) H&S Competence Sub-group has produced a film which covers the essential ‘need to know’ aspects of working safely on site. The intention is that this will be used to complement the site induction processes, acquainting workers with key aspects of working safely on site. It is not by any means intended to replace existing induction procedures, however it is hoped that by viewing this film, all workers will receive a consistent message in a format that will be understood by all.

In making the film the Competence Group, which includes SMEs and clients, recognised that many smaller sites do not have any form of induction process. This film will provide anyone intending to go on site with information about what to expect from the site environment, and what is expected of them with the aim that everyone stays safe.

The SFfC Executive Group unanimously endorsed the film at their meeting in November.
